Seventeen years’ experience working in a range of organisations developing programmes and partnerships to end violence against women and girls.

Experience

• Deliver a range of violence against women and girls consultancy services to Local Authorities and Strategic Partnerships. Including: research with survivors and service users; needs assessments; project/service evaluations.
• Delivering high quality Domestic Homicide Reviews, Safeguarding Adults Review and Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews as an independent chair and author.
• Strategic Partnership and Commissioning Lead for Domestic and Gender-Based Violence for the London Borough of Haringey.
• Managed the Southend multi-agency domestic abuse partnership and developed and delivered the strategy.
• Developed and delivered domestic violence projects in Barking and Dagenham including the multi-agency forum, training and coordinated responses.
• Former Trustee for Southend on Sea Rape Crisis: part of a small Management Board overseeing the running and development of this small charity supporting women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.
• Volunteer experience as a project assistant for the AVA Project and as a helpline worker on the National Domestic Violence Helpline supporting women experiencing domestic abuse.
